Spectrum Music is an Artist Management and Music Marketing Company founded by Joseph N. Yoon in 2002. We love the artists that we represent and value working with both artists and companies that share our passion for honest, creative music that make no compromise for commercial success.


Joseph started playing music at a young age, learning his do-re-mis on the piano and also blowing one heck of a recorder. He has always been in love with music ever since he can remember...one of his earliest childhood memories is of himself pretending to play the trumpet along with his parent's music.

He joined the middle school band and was disappointed when he was told he couldn't play the trumpet because he wore braces. So Joseph went with the saxophone and now it seems like destiny had a big hand in having him play that instrument. He performed in many bands through high school and college while managing and booking them.

Having spent much of his time moving at a younger age, Joseph’s wanderlust and free spirit lead him to take a one way flight to Europe with a backpack, saxophone and $500 after graduating from college. He traveled for half a year meeting many wonderful characters and through many serendipitous events, he landed down on the beautiful beaches of Valencia, Spain. He spent a year shedding and performing regionally while honing his business skills by booking and managing the numerous bands he was in.

After a year of living the musician’s dream in Spain, Joseph decided to come back to America to get actively involved in the music industry. He worked at numerous companies cutting his teeth in the industry (artist management, record labels, television) before deciding to set off and launch Spectrum Music.

Since 2002, Spectrum Music has been proud to represent and work with musicians and companies that we now consider life long associates and friends.
